Within China, the oral liquid Jinzhen (JZOL) finds considerable use. However, the way this substance is distributed throughout the tissues, a critical factor for understanding its effectiveness, has not been published. Mouse models were employed to characterize the chemical components, prototypes, and metabolites of this substance, and to determine its tissue distribution patterns in healthy and diseased mice.
